We’re raising money! Join us in our TOWN 2019 Fundraiser

August 5, 2019 Colleen Murphy

TOWN Mag has big plans for this year, and we need your help. We’re launching a GoFundMe campaign for TOWN to raise $2,000+ dollars for expenses that comes with keeping website up-and-running, spreading the word, and growth. We'll be promoting this campaign for the month of August to kick off the school year.

Donate Now

If we reach our goal of $2,000+ we can

1) Keep the site up and running for the next two years

2) Hire alumni to help us write, design, and capture content for the platform

3) Pursue our plan to make a pilot program that other schools in the area can participate in

4) Make donations to students and groups in the local area

5) Inspire and inform more WHS students than ever before!

TOWN is a non-profit and start-up. All time efforts are donated by the community or contractors that are paid with what we can. If you love what we’re doing and see that it’s working, please donate today! If you donate $50+ you can get a free town magnet sent to you to show your TOWN pride.

Every donation counts, even small ones. Your contribution would be a small step toward something really big. and we couldn't be happier.

Happy New Year, Townies

Happy New Year, Townies! We love the idea of starting fresh, of course. 2018 was a great year for TOWN and as we reflect we can’t help but be grateful for all of the support from the community. Thanks for following along with us and helping us check off our goals. Our biggest goal last year was to create the event Townies Talk, and we did it!

In 2019, we have some very specific goals that we want to put out into the universe: publish at least 12 more alumni stories, hold another Townies Talk event with the goal of reaching 4x as many students and having double the alumni speakers, and to start our series about The Hard Things so that we can be more real, raw, and honest with our content. A plus would be creating a TOWN video, but we’ll see about that.

Keep supporting us in 2019, find us on social media and spread the word to friends. If you haven’t shared your story yet, share it today and inspire someone. Help us reach our goal!

Real World Survey

May 15, 2017 Colleen Murphy

We asked students about the crazy, scary, amazing Real World. They told us about their dream jobs and if they are ready for world outside of the classroom. We’re excited to report students feel very ready for the Real World and have high hopes and dreams!
